Beginning of concert season

Macey was first with DMCO on Dec 1st. Arriving at the performance hall.
 Backstage with my cutie.
5pm show watching with my boys.
Yay! Stephanie and me. (Don't mind the walkie talkie...)
Sneaking out early with dad! It was another beautiful and fabulous concert!

Ryan with the Wester Middle School band was next.

 Loving the trombone!
Ry and Travis!

Thanksgiving cabin trip

Heading north to Oklahoma for a few days in a cabin.
 Driver.
 Pet.
 Hot tub!

We were living in tight quarters, but it was fabulous to have us all together, mostly removed from our devices and Dan removed from work.
I love to build puzzles. The kids and Dan humored me some to help, but I did pick a super tricky one for this trip. Here I am working on my puzzle while they wile away some time in the tub.

 Kid bonding!
We played tons of games. The game box was the most important box when we packed. Everyone checked it to make sure we had what we needed. (They may not have been as careful with their toiletries.)
Thanksgiving dinner. Dan and I are the only ones who like Turkey Dinner, so I made this mostly for us!
Macey broke out in a crazy rash. We consulted with medical personnel over the phone (no clinics were open near us for the holiday) and decided to try benadryl and rest. Worked!
Lucy was a tad disoriented on this trip. But she did snuggle this stuffie to comfort herself.
We escaped! It helped that Dan, Al and I had all done one before. It was fun to work together and solve the problems.
Family dinner out.
We went to Beaver's Bend state park. The groaning about having to leave the cabin was immense.

The joy they had playing at the lake, was greater!
Lucy and I hanging out as the rest of them trekked to the shore.
 Skipping rocks.
 Hiking to the point.

I love this picture. If you zoom in you can see my family trekking down the hill. It reminds me of 'We're going on a bear hunt.'
Again, if you zoom in you will see that Dan is covered in lady bugs. Unfortunately we left the truck windows down and the interior was covered in ladybugs! I'll say this, a car full of lady bugs is much better than a car full of any other bug!
Hiking to the top of a ridge.
 Look at this handsome guy!

 Bundle of love.
 Checking out.
Lucy was hilarious the trip home. She loved all the outdoor smells, especially the horses and cows.
And occasionally the goats.

Random Nov

My new calling is the Activity Day Girls leader. I get to be with Macey's group! We had a PJ party one night. The girls made rice stuffed bears (for hot pads).
Sis Moffitt hosted us. We watched Rudolph in her media room.
Family pictures day. The kids loved the ducks.
 And the bronze horses.

 My boy and me!
I hosted sewing camp the week of Thanksgiving making these Christmas tree pillows.
