End of November

Macey went to 5th grade sleep away camp for 3 days. They went to Sky Ranch, which is a super sweet camp about 2 hours from Frisco.
While sister was gone, I went with Ryan on the 8th grade field trip to the zoo. Should 8th graders go to the zoo? Nah, probably not! Basically it was just a day off with friends.
 Bird feeding.
 Kiddie train ride.
 Wasps lovin' on Ryan.
DMCO, children's chorus during a Saturday combined rehearsal.
 Leaf raking was in order.
Some were happier to do it than others.
This is our stop in Paris, Texas on our way to Broken Bow, OK for a few days in a cabin for Thanksgiving.
Back seat road trippin' with the kids and dog.
 Party with Ry and Lu!
 My boy and me!
 Lucers on the lake shore.
Macers on the lake shore.
Our stop at Buccee's on the way north.
 The cabin.
Lucy watching us drive away. She didn't care for the cabin all that much.
Lake shore, skipping rocks. Some rocks flew into heads instead of skipping on the water.
Thanksgiving feast, cabin style. It would have been much better food at home, but these folks are pretty easy to please when it comes to food.
 Out and about in 'town'.
 Goats near the petting zoo.
The boys had a man trip to do zip-lining. Sister didn't weigh enough, so she and I shopped instead.

Here M and I are watching the boys on their final leg of the zip line course.
Wild but tame dear near the petting zoo.

 Jailed with dad!
Yeah, we didn't need to own this, but sure did need a picture of it!
Gaming at the cabin. This is how Dan helped us pack: he bought a few new games to make sure we had enough variety to get us through 5 days together. They ended up getting a poker set for the men folk.
We escaped with just 2 clues. One clue wasn't very well executed, but the other one was a rookie mistake!
