Happy Birthday 5K at Bacchus Park.
Dan took Ryan and Macey to AZ for a family vacation. I stayed home with Alex so he could stay employed (one week vacay + 2 week quarantine= very little money!) Alex has been at EFY for my last 3 birthdays, so it was nice to get a day just with him!
We went to watch fireworks in a high school parking lot.
Ha! This looks like a terrible view, but actually it was fine!
After his last trip to the ortho, ever we hope, we grabbed some Einstein Bagels and went to Arbor Hills for a breakfast picnic.
Alex has been spending his cash on upgrading his computer. Thanks to John R and YouTube, Alex has become pretty good at building/modifying computers.
Bovines on my morning walk.
Dan sent these gorgeous flowers!
I took a Covid break from sewing camps, but I've kept one student all summer long. Here we are making a drawstring backpack.
This is Macaroni, my friend's cockatiel. He was really fun to have around for 3 weeks! But maybe not fun enough to go out and get my own.
Here are my donations to the local nursing home. I was gifted a box of yarn that turns out was only useful for frilly scarves! I also made 2 lapghan's for wheelchairs.
Ha! My quarantine puzzles!
Dan and Macaroni became good buddies too!
The DeLucia's new wheels!
Lucy hates following me up and down the stairs when I'm cleaning, so she perches on the middle and watches.
Macers all decked out for summer on a walk to RedBox (movie rental). I made the H2O water carrier for sewing lessons.
When you buy a 12' board that doesn't fit in your car and you have no bungee cords...
A playdate with 2 friends; unheard of in these times!
We made fake stain glass buy using black paint and sharpies.
Attention seeking pet. I was crocheting this blanket before she landed here. This is my temperature blanket; July is looking hot, hot, hot!
Yay, more sewing students! I decided I could host camps just before school started. We wear masks, but can't keep 6' apart.
Band Camp!! Everything about school is up in the air, but these 2 got to go to a couple days of band camp. We'll see what the fall brings...I took M&M to a local park. They had this huge place all to themselves.
Lucy and I sat in the shade keeping watch.
Afterwards I suggested Dairy Queen but these two said, 'Snow Cones!' We stopped by the Frisco Snow Cone Lady just off the square.
