Beg of summer

RS activity at my house. We called it a Sisters' Night Out and we had a fruit tart bar. We used mini graham crusts and filled with pudding or yogurt and topped with fresh fruit. So delicious!
My sewing camps have been ambitious this summer!
I'm reconsidering the idea of 'yes, I'll watch your black lab'. LOL. Roxie is a sweet puppy. Just big. And loud. And makes large piles.
Yahoo! 4 Mondays of work and the uniform room is ready to be used for the next season!
I paid this girl in donuts for her help in putting barcodes in the hat boxes. We finished the 4 cases when I realized there should be 10 more cases somewhere!! In 2 weeks we bring the rest down from the attic. Ugh!

Macey with her french horn section at SFA band camp.
Spork really likes M best, but I made do for a few days without her.
Oh man, having this picture taken has me realizing that I'm actually going to substitute teach. I said I never would because I can't imagine being with that many kids all day long! We'll see how it goes!
"Are you having fun at camp?" "Yeah, I got my eyebrows done."
Happy Father's Day, Dan. Hope you enjoyed this masterpiece!

R making the masterpiece.
M leaving for camp.
Downtown Plano.
Gelato in Plano.
Platypodes!
It felt like opening a Lego box when I got my new sewing machine!
I used lesson money to invest in a more powerful machine.
We have had August heat in June. My poor flowers!

I love sewing with boys!
The temperature after church!
Sunday relaxing!
Such pretty flowers!
I love this t-shirt quilt!

My hydrangea before the brutal heat hit it.
My purslane saying, heat, bring it!
A dip in the pool after a soccer game.

M says she wants to play hockey! We are practicing skating once a week until lessons start.
I got to go with her one day.
Adios band junk!
Work, work, work.
I love big birds!

A trip to CFA and Target!
Mother's Day in Relief Society!
I was so blessed to get to spend a few days in Goodyear with Julianne and Bruce. We would spend a few hours every day helping Bruce at rehab and then at night we would play and have fun!

Chihuly exhibit at Taliesen West in Scotsdale.

Checking out the art scene in Scotsdale.

Yum! They opened an Oregano's in Goodyear!
No surprise here, but I lost to J at PIG in the pool.
Max and I went for a walk every morning.
The old neighborhood. It was actually quite lovely. I forgot how nice it was near the mountains. In Frisco we are building houses, houses, houses. In Goodyear they are building warehouses, warehouses, warehouses. Funny, that we left Goodyear when Dan's livelihood is warehouses!
Beautiful day for swimming in Julianne's pool!
My beautiful hydrangeas put on quite a show this spring.
Ry's turn for a concert.
My uniform mom buddy. She graduated with her boy so I'm all alone for now!
Our neighbor got accepted to the naval academy! Go Navy!
Macaroni came for an extended stay while his family was in California for a funeral.
Me and my boy!
Macaroni was determined to not be in his cage this visit.
Look at his handsome fellow on his way to the band banquet.

Yikes! Honda Pilot fill up when picking up Alex from college.
Happy birthday, Dan. Ryan has opened another person's gift for them. I wonder if he'll let his kids open their own gifts...
Last day of dorm living!
The only picture of Kendall and Alex, dormmates.

Macey, Mr Smith and Carli at another concert.
