Mom's Day Report

I did have a wonderful Mother's Day. The boys were up at 6:15am. At 7:15am they just couldn't stay away any longer and came to get Dad. Dan got up and made me breakfast, which I ate while they got my gifts ready. I was worried about that. What were they planning?
When they were ready the boys came running in. Ryan loves saying 'Happy Birthday', and I guess he figured I had a birthday yesterday! Why else the gifts? Ryan gave me a sleeping mask (since the sun comes up at 4:45am); Alex gave me 'Guess Who' for our 'Mom and Alex Time'. The box says six and up, but I think it would be OK for a 4 yr old. And then I had to find my gift from Dan. He took thread and wrapped it around everything. So I had to unwind it until I found the gift. The thread was a clue (but Dan loves treasure maps and 'seeking' so I didn't pick up on it). At the end was a new sewing machine. Hooray! I won't have to borrow June's machine anymore. If you know me, you know how much I love to make Halloween costumes, but I enjoy making other things too. I'm super excited.
The next best gift was Ryan sleeping through Sacrament meeting! Blessed peace!

So glad you had a great Mother's Day! I am glad you got a sewing machine, I know it will be greatly used. Mason also slept through Sacrament meeting! That was a great MD gift!

I'm glad mother's day didn't include any Ryan antics. Cuz, CUTE as he is, I understand the exhaustion. Happy mother's day again.
