Now, I also love the Olympics because I have been to Olympia, Greece. It is a beautiful place. I spent 2 days there. I wish it could have been longer. It was a VERY long bus ride to get there. The first morning I woke up and went to find breakfast. When I stepped outside it smelled so fresh and clean (it reminded me of camping). Pam and I lined up on the original track and field starting line. And the museum had a beautiful statue of Nike. The picture in my sidebar is the torch being lit. I didn't realize until I was there that the torch is lit from the original spot and then carried around the world. Greece was a crazy place. Everyone should go to Greece! But... be prepared. You have to have a spirit of adventure to go there.

Did you watch the opening ceremonies? Beijing did an amazing job!!
Yes, it was very awesome! China is amazing place. When SLC hosted they talked about the Indians and the pioneers. That is nothing compared to the history of China. It is too bad their government is so ridiculous. I can see why communism would be comforting to their beliefs. However, it would be better if they didn't have morons in charge!
I love to cheer for America! I always want them to win in everything. Gymnastics are my favorite to watch.
I love the Olympics too. I love swimming especially when Michael Phelps is competing and gymnastics the best. It was fun to see you today at the YMCA
I want to go to Santorini...SO BAD!!
I'm having a blast watching the Olympics this year now that I have a DVR. I can record and then speed watch until I get to my favorite sports. I'm not missing a thing! I'm thrilled to be watching so much volleyball. It's been heaven.
Crystal you should tell more of your adventures in Greece/Europe! When did you go, what brought you there, what did you learn, what were your favorite parts?
Curious minds want to know :o}
I wanted to be an olympic gymnist.
Jerry and I want to do syncronized water ballet... BUT as Abby says, we're just too old and dad's legs are too hairy!
