Amie and I canned apples yesterday. It wasn't difficult, but it was time consuming. Baby Aaron wasn't exactly cooperative, but we still managed to get our box of apples preserved.

The house was deconstructed by these two hooligans. But like all messes, it was cleaned up quickly and it was worth the mess for us to get the work done!

Here is Amie. To picture me, just think of a green shirt! Thank you Liz for the canner and encouragement. I would do it again (but perhaps on a Saturday when the dads can babysit!)

I've always wanted to learn how to do that.
Yes, next time we need babysitters!!! Especially for BABIES. No babies allowed! :) Thanks for doing all the work and still allowing me to benefit from it! It was fun!

I'm so glad it worked out for you! Thanks for the bottle of apples. I want to make a pie with it, but it just looks so pretty in the jar on my counter! I might feel guilty wolfing down something that you put so much time into!
