Number 34 in red on the sideline? Yeah, that is my Wildcat!
Alex is feeling like the kicking on his football team is a little weak so he spoke up to coach and said, "I play soccer. I'd like to be the kicker." Apparently, coach looked him over and said, 'Yeah? Why don't you practice that and we'll talk about it next week." So we have been heading over to the football field any time we can and have been practicing! What do I know about middle school kicking? Nothing, but being a know-it-all helps because Alex trusts me to know what I'm doing. At least we are kicking the football many, many times. Hopefully his coach will COACH him and then we can really know what we are doing!Wouldn't it be great if our little brother loved fetching all the kicked footballs? He is good for about 3 kicks and then he starts climbing stuff.
Or throwing stuff that isn't footballs. We'll keep you posted on the football progress.
Surprise! Alex has had bloody noses for years, mostly at night. But over the summer it had gotten to the point where he was begging me to take him to the doctor. I sure did, but Alex did not expect a procedure that made his nose hurt! The doc 'sealed' his irritated blood vessels with I don't know what, but this should stop the bloody noses. Hope so, 'cause I don't think Alex will let him do it again! On the creepy side, we got a very in depth look in his nasal passages on the big screen TV. Another thing Alex wasn't too impressed about. :)
