Start of April stuff

Ah, a toothless grin! We love the sweet look Macers has these days with no front teeth. We had a good 2 weeks with just gums, but a new tooth is coming down as we speak.
Here are the Young Singers with Prof Stewart getting close to concert time. These kids love when he is the director. He is strict with them and he means business, but he is funny too and they love to laugh with him and to please him too.
Ryan was also preparing to sing in his own choir. He volunteered to stay after school and be in the 4th and 5th grade honor choir. They performed at morning assembly, a nursing home, and at the Frisco Arts in the Square. Maybe next year he'll join sister at DMCO since it is the ONLY year they would be in the same choir (which means only one rehearsal for mom to sit through/volunteer at!)
We are improving in our Selfie attempts! Jo and I went to Canton, TX for a craft show/swap meet. It is an enormous place with everything crafty and crazy.
Dan said 'no' to the Go Hogs sign, the Arkansas sign...
 ...unicorn head...
and the street signs. I brought home a small collection of random stuff, but a lot of fun memories with my best-ie. We were glad the husbands were available to let us have the day off from work!
Macey exclaimed, 'I've never had jello before!' I guess we haven't taken her to too many buffets or cafeterias. :)
Slurping was a favorite Jello activity at this meal. Maybe this is why I don't make Jello...
And I quote, "I have a dream to be a super villain." by Macey. Really? Who is sitting next to her in the 1st grade?
Lucy Lou after a much needed grooming. Although maybe she could have used a little more off the face. She is looking a bit top heavy!
Alex's Symphonic Band performed at 2 contests. At one they got 3 trophies including, Best Middle School of the day and Best in Show. They received all 1's at the UIL contest.
Wouldn't ya know, I hosted a fun girls night with 8 great ladies at my house and I didn't a single picture of the event? We had a cookies and coloring night. Dan says were rowdy! Sorry, it took until 11:45pm to finish all our projects! Everyone went home with a framed picture that they had colored. Fun!
 Frisco Food Truck Festival.
We had one of our Pringle kids with us!
I thought this cheese fondue dinner looked to yummy to not photograph. This is one of the healthier plates.
Take a look at all those carbs! Thankfully a meal everyone enjoyed!
 Concert run through.
I can not wait for the professional pictures from the concert night. The lighting was amazing. It was the perfect backdrop for the awesome music and especially for the special guest violinist.
Felicity and Megan always come to watch sister perform. We are so thankful for these good and loyal friends.
Neighbors always!
Ugh, I was backstage until 10:45pm. I have loved being with these kids every week and watching them progress. They brought me to tears several times singing 'Jesus Loves the Little Chidlren.' But, it is a LONG night for everyone. Especially when we couldn't stay in our own designated room because the A/C made the room (feel like) 45deg!

We happened to have a fence built on Concert Day. They crew showed up at 12:30 and finished at sunset. When no one was home...
I came home at 11:45pm to find a finished fence. It is a beautiful work of art. Love my fence!(although I could have waited a year or two to have it built...)
Dan set up a GoPro to test out the time lapse feature. (we are borrowing this for our vaca- next week)
