Jan and Feb happenings

Please-don't-take-a-picture-of-me look. It is game day and soccer teamer had to dress up fancy for school!
He's in the team huddle! He is Titan soccer player!
 And it is freezing!
Ha! I started attending my favorite weights class at the gym. Those squats make these stairs look very very very long!
Activity Days, making hearts for heart attacks.
The lights in my kitchen kept going out so I decided to install new fixtures. These LED (the closer fixture; I hadn't replaced the other one yet) lights can't be replaced. They are supposed to last forever. We'll see. There was much shenanigans involved with these fixtures, which I won't bore you with, but... we can now say, 'OK google. turn off the kitchen lights' So that makes it all worth it!
Ah, Lucy found a brand new coat to snuggle.
Hmmm, Lucy likes to straddle the pillows on MY side of the bed. She looks perfectly content, doesn't she.
Jo, my partner in eating crime. Lunch with this lady can be the only adult conversation I'll get on the weeks Dan travels. Bless her for loving me as I am, and being willing to hangout with me for hours!
#33 playing some indoor soccer with a rec team.
Out and about with my hubs.
Gaps on all sides of her mouth now.
 Lu, Lu, really? Snuggle much?
 Sewing up some Pusheens.
I made a tooth fairy! It has a pocket to put the tooth in. SOOO, cute!
 Working on her Valentine's box.
Ah, this is fabulous. We were looking around the house for a box and found this one from Alex's new headboard. She was nervous it would be too big.
 Maybe, but it is awesome!
This is our morning carpool/walk to school group.
I brought this child lunch! I only do it once a year. Dad is the good sport who goes up there on a regular basis.
 Girl pile in the hammock!
 Pusheen sewing camp.
 Activity Day soap carvings.
Drew Daywalt!! Author of the 'Days the Crayons Quit'. He gave a great lecture and read a new book to us. This was at libarypalooza, a Saturday thing at the high school. Here is what we learned from the illustrator lecture: Macers wants to go to art school and only study art for 4 years!!
Long story here, but the short story is that my Grandma Betty made this quilt block for me in college. It has been among my stuff for almost 2 decades. It was time to get it finished! I made it into a wall hanging and hung it in my sewing studio.
When isn't Lucy snuggling something or someone?
A box of oranges straight from AZ. Thank you, Unlce Charlie!
Alex asked for stuffed french toast for breakfast. This was so, so yummy! (and notice the glass of FRESH squeezed OJ!)
The bed gift with light up balloons.
What cutie! Still made it to seminary!
We enjoyed celebrating him, even if it was an overscheduled crazy day. His big wish: cash to buy a computer. Granted! He'll be ordering it soon!
