Handing out show shirts. My volunteering for the high school band is all dedicated to uniforms and attire. We had such a mess to clean up for all the things that were donated and dumped from the school drop offs. It was a good 6 weeks into school before Melissa and I were allowed to go up to the school to get started on this weird season. I fitted nearly every band member in their uniforms because we wanted to limit the number of volunteers who were in contact with the kids.
This sums up the season pretty well. Notice the black bell covers (instrument masks), the kids in the stands wearing masks and being spread out to increase social distancing. The kids are finding ways to laugh and be together to make band fun this year. There won't be any competitions and not even a real 'show'.
The section leaders play the national anthem. Alex gets that privilige this year.
Emma with her mask and bell cover.
Here I'm ironing all the uniforms.
UNT acceptance letter. Guess what this boy wants to be when he grows up? A band director.
Alex and Emma playing national anthem again.
Packing the tiny trunk for homecoming game.

The coldest game of the year! So far!
They play most of their games indoors, but of course homecoming and senior night are outdoors. Burr.
This is homecoming, but since Al hungout with all bandies, I figure it can go in this post!
Our Freshman.
