Fathers and Sons campout

So, here are the pictures of this event. They camped by Stoneman Lake near Flagstaff. They went prepared for the cold, so it turned out better than last year. Beyond that, I don't know much. But I'll tell you what I did while they were gone.
I dropped off the boys at 12:30 at Dan's work. From there I headed to Mesa. I went to Bookman's (I hope the west valley gets one!) and bought some hardbacks to complete a series I have (June, I've got all of Father Tim's antics now). Then I went and did some temple work. On my way home I went to Marshalls. I was there a very long time, just enjoying shopping without my wiggle worms. I found a dress that would have been perfect for Em's wedding and some great shoes. I picked up a few other things and came home to peace and quiet. I was worried about my boys being away, but I had a wonderful break. Saturday I went to a baby shower and 'got ready for Sunday'.
Today is a long church day. Between Dan and I, we'll have been at church from 8am to 6pm for various meetings. Sunday isn't so much a day of rest, as it is a day to fulfill our ward obligations.
Reflections: A break for me is an escape from my nurturing duties for 24 hours. A break for Dan is spending quality time with his boys. I think that is a nice trade off!

Crystal-- This is so weird...I was looking through your friends to see if maybe I knew them as well. As I looked at the Smith Family, I recognized Josh Smith. He was Dan's Roommate at School in UT while we were dating! Small world, eh? How do you know them??

Love the pics. Believe it or not I love to camp. Someday we should meet in the middle and go camping.
