Halloween

Felicity and I took the girls to the high school courtyard to trick or treat a day early. 15 min and a full bucket later, we headed to the park.
On Halloween you had to dress as a book character for school. Here is bad kitty. I got up at 6:30am and pulled this together. Sister did not want to work on it before the day of.
Bad Kitty and Mary Poppins on their way to school. (MP is our morning walking buddy)
Halloween turned out to be a cold and rainy night. And, alas, we never got a family picture! We took Travis with us to Plano for our usual haunts.
Nacho Libre was handing out candy to Matt B.! This young man was one of my Cub Scouts long ago.
 Hanging with the D's.
John R. rocking the Fantastic Mr Fox costume.
This was at Plano Legacy church building. They did thier trunk or treat indoors to avoid the rain. It was great to go back and visit all our friends.
The only picture of us as Nacho and Sis Encarnacion.
Heading to Russell Creek to try door to door. I dropped off most of the car in RC and then took Alex to a Trumpet Halloween party. When I came back, I was at Felicity's house planning to catch up with my crew, but decided to stay and walk with F and Ilene. It was a fun walk with the girls. Though, I did miss walking with hubby and Macers.
Ryan and Travis had big plans for getting candy. And it appears that it worked. Seriously? Does anyone need this much candy? No. Not at all.

October

Macey helped me make Port a cath pillows for cancer patients.
I made a batch of these up to send with all the hats I made this summer for 'Crochet along for a Cause'.
Here are the homemade goodies I sent to an oncology office in NWA.
Sometimes you need a puppy to help you get your homework done.
We had a couple friends over after school one day and made some spooky houses and cookies.

Choir practice. This is the Young Singers (the littles in front) and Children's Chorus in the pews. This is a huge group of kids; almost double the number from the year before.
Choir buddy Lilly has the same tooth gap as Macers!

Laura and Macey in their Halloween cotumes/dog jammies. It took several weeks to finish this project. I stepped in to help with a few steps just so it could be done on time. Laura won an award for her costume at the Trunk or Treat.
 Costume for the band concert!
Ry and Travis are characters from a Japanses anime. Ninjas of some sort... I think it is a Japanese cartoon soap opera.
This is the March of the Zombie Trombones. I super fun song for the much overlooked trombone section.
Gotta make your money some how when a teen. Alex the referee!
Coach Dan, Macey and Alex all in their uniforms at the end of a long day of soccer.
 Last day of football!
Ryan was really in football just to get into the workout gym the rest of the year. Sneaky!
