Macey's piano recital.
She had a duet with Charlotte.
For our happy anniversary, Dan, Ryan and I went to see Aquaman in the theater. (Because Dan is the best Dad in the world.) We dropped him off at home and then went out to eat in downtown Frisco. They had this crazy light up ornament.
And dancing to the music Christmas lights.
Christmas Eve we read Luke 2.
Scruffy puppy.
Where is Pippen?
Cookies for Santa. Alas, nothing homemade this year. Just some Target cookies.
Merry Christmas!
This is a bananya. It is a cat that is inside a banana. It is a Japanese anime character.
Super Smash Bros controller.
Hot dog socks...
Sweet stuff for Macers.
Christmas feast. Well as much as we feast anyway.
Dad likes taking Lucy for rides!
13 years old!
His one and only gift from mom and dad.
A cellphone and plan. Alex was 14 when he got his cell plan. Ryan is 13. Hmm, will Macey be 12...
Late night candles.
Just after buying their season passes!!!
First ride of the day! Batman.
Riding the train!
MMM, funnel cake.
The Pringle family came over for game night. These two were jumping on the trampoline, at night, in 40deg weather. Had to warm up by the fire!
ALEX MADE THE HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER TEAM!! True he is on JV-2, so he has a ways to go to get to varsity, if he pursues it past this year. But how fun, right?! This was a scrimmage during holiday break.
The last Saturday of winter break was a beautiful day. So Dad, Ryan and Macers went to Six Flags with the DeLucias.
MMM, funnel cake.
Our first Sunday of 2 hour church!!

Christmas and beyond
For 2018 our family stayed HOME for Christmas. Happy Christmas morning!
Happy good times!
Time to play with the new toys.
Hot Wheels Rocket League R/C cars.
Super Smash Bros. set up. We got special controllers, but they have cords (how 1993!) so we had to move the extra couch over to sit close up.
Grace got an 'X-Box'.
So, according to the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app, the family played 8 hours of Smash Bros on Christmas day.
Sweet Lego set.
Ryan is now officially a teenager. 13 years old! Dan, Ryan and I went to Six Flags to celebrate. Waiting for a ride.
Dad and Ryan going around and around. Dan and Ryan upgraded their tickets to season passes. Lots of Six Flags over Texas for those two this year!
Ryan got Al this green bowl and ice cream scoop for Christmas. Alex eats a tub of ice cream every few days. Dr said we should let him eat whatever, whenever he wants. His BMI is below the chart.
Here we are playing Qwixx dice game. Um, I love this game. But I usually win, so... Ryan hates this game. He usually loses....
I forced these yahoos to leave the house to do something together. 'Fine, we'll bowl.' Scowl face.
And do you know? Once they got to playing they had a fantastic time! Duh. Teenage boys want to stay home plugged into their screens. Parents have to be the bad guys and force them to leave the house.
I didn't get the score for the first game, but Ryan beat Alex.
Well, this is a screen.
And this is a screen.
Also, another screen. But they did play laser tag, so they did
For posterity's sake. Usually gasoline costs in the $2.20 range these days. This winter the prices have been lower and I got a super discount at the Kroger gas station from shopping points. This was a win!
Lucy and I ran an errand together. She loves the smell of the Longhorns on Main street.
Macey, Laura and Aubree (church friends) at the park.
I pulled out the puzzle once I was all done with Christmas shenanigans.
The last day of winter break was 72deg. A great day to meet up with the Sumners and play at the park/creek.
Lucy loves having her own stuffies to snuggle.

Dad is home from a business trip and the girls are super glad to snuggle him. He was so sick on his trip. He needs a few days of R&R so he can be ready to fly out again on Tuesday.
Hooray! I finished it this morning. It was super dooper hard. But I enjoyed the challenge. However, I may have used it as an excuse to procrastinate lately, so maybe I'll be more productive now.
