December 2017

(Sorry for the sideways pictures. I did fix them before uploading them, but alas, the computer is being difficult!)
 Party to celebrate turning 12.
I can't find the taco pinata pictures, but it was sweet. These boys also went to the school park and had a capture the flag/nerf gun war.
Ward Party. I was heading a committee of one by the time party week came around. But many of my friends and my family stepped up to help me bring it all together.
 Nativity Play
Macey as one of the angels.
 My primary!
Alex (exiting to the left) performing in the Christmas play.
 Family Christmas!
I gave Macey a sewing box, supplies and a promise to teach her to sew. This small thing has turned into a side business for me. I now have 3 sewing students! Thankfully they are all 8 yrs old and I have enough skills to get them started!
Ryan opening the thing he most wanted, but knew was too expensive, and that's why he got a job dog-walking, but it was too sweet a deal so Dad bought it and said 'you have to pay for part of it because you worked hard to earn it!'
And still a month later if any asks, Ryan is very quick to say, 'I GOT A GAMING COMPUTER!'
What? You don't have a Rapid Ramen cooker? We've got three. So if you come over and need a snack with zero nutritional benefit, we can hook you up!
Hei-hei. Everyone needs a crazy chicken in their life.
Ditto on the things everyone needs: Bob Ross t-shirts.
Alex got Ryan 15 packs of gum. And Dad, 1 pack of gum. They will probably run out at the same time.
 Macey's first piano recital.

We love Megan and that she comes to so many events to support sister!
 Girls after church.
 Breakfast with grandpa.
Never too cool or old for Polly Pockets.
June and Macey created this goodness while the rest of us watched the new Star Wars.
Alex set a record of baptisms done by one person at the Tucson temple. 51 Italian men! I bet Grandpa Frassa was having a great time watching it from on high!

 Annual jump to SkyZone.

Bruce and Julianne came to visit us at Kirsten's on Christmas Eve.

 Teenagers on Christmas break.
 Christmas morning at M&K's.
Christmas night at Bob and June's.
 Yum, creme brulee!
 Girl cousins!

Another trip to the temple. I didn't realize this was a second set of pictures there for Dan. Thanks for humoring me!

 12 For reals now.
 The Gazelle's together at last!

To tide you over

I am in the midst of many things, but here are some pictures to tide you over until I get time for blogging again...
Marching band in the city parade.
Alex is in row in front of tubas.
 Dinner at Twisted Root Burger

Lucy LOVES lying on the freshly laundered clothes. Alas, nothing was laid out for her to sit on, so she had to prop up against the back of the couch to snuggle Alex's clean shirts.
 Primary President perk for Thanksgiving.
Playoff game; last football game of 2017.

Thanksgiving week Alex finally had a day we could go get our bloodwork done. Breakfast afterwards! Jimmy's Egg.
T-day week also brought Mike. Here we are at Dave and Busters.

Our home teacher Ben Westover came for pizza and ping pong. Finally, a real competitor for Alex!
Pooch out for a walk at Russell Creek.
Sweet stuff went directly to the groomers after this adventure!
DMCO Christmas concert. I was the assisting the Youth Choirs manager helping organize volunteers and signing the kids in and out. I walked and walked and walked many, many miles backstage. The concerts were lovely, of course!
Macey's group backstage. Pic taken by a friend.
Here is Ryan at his last 11 year old scout meeting. He has been an awesome patrol leader. He loves these kids. They are all in a different ward from us, so he won't be with them after this, but it has been a great thing for him to serve them.
