General Conference m&m bingo and embroidery.

I love fall!

Here is a Pinterest find that I wanted to make in my friends woodshop. He said, 'Hey, could I let the deacons build it for an activity?' Yes, of course! They did a great job. Now to fill it up!

Look at all this delicious yarn! The theme is based off Clue characters. Here is Professor Plum on the left to Mrs Peacock to Mr Green on the right. The pattern was originally in Ukrainian so I had a few hiccups, but eventually figured it out.

My old lady shawl. It is so warm and a perfect wrap for a baby when no blankets are around. 

This is me do-gooding for the Titan band. Unfortuanately a Thunderstorm rolled through the concession stand 5 min into the game start time. We didn't raise any money and I got soaked. 

But the rain didn't stop men for asking for their $3 beers. LOL

Yay! I added the final touches to this hawaiian volcano hat. Stephanie bought me the yarn for my bday and Johanna kitted it. I sewed on the pom-pom and label. I LOVE this hat!

I love Halloween. I set this guy out a week early because he was so awesome. And I put Christmas out a week late because I love fall, so it all works out!

Middle school band director is the hero of the freshman players.

These are all the sweet kids who chose or weren't selected to be a part of the Show Band. This is them waiting for the Show kids to warm up.

Band camp

Combined volleyball night. This is leaders vs. youth.

The hand quilt the never ends. I have finished all the quilting; this just needs a border. It is folded up for now. I'll circle back later!

Sunday gaming.

Dan and Macey can play in the swimming pool for hours. Thank you Russell Creek for staying empty so we can not feel bad about crashing your neighborhood pool!

First day of school. Macey is a freshman and Ryan is a Senior.

Johanna and I made these stitch markers to exchange for Fiberfest.

This sums up the band hall after a summer of HVAC renovations. Lame. Because of the summer renovations, I spent the last 6 weeks catching up on uniform sizing/distributing. I'll probably get that done just as marching season ends and we have roll right into tuxedos. Sigh!!

There are perks to being at school ALL of the time. I get to hear the same 4 measures being practiced repeatedly. I get to embarrass Ryan. I get to hug Macey during the day. I get to go to Pep Rallies when most parents can't. I get to know the kids and they trust me.

Hockey tryouts. Everyone makes a team, but they need to put you in the right division. Being new, MJ was guaranteed to be in the lowest team, but it was extra ice time!

The secretary who issued this pass asked, 'so is this just for a few days.' Um no, this will be all year long!

You probably didn't realize  that you might need a special hot dog and bun toaster.

Yay, happy birthday MJ!

Her birthday fell on a YW activity night. We went to the mall and played Where's Waldo with ward members. The girls knew which adults to look for, just not how they would be dressed. 

This was hilarious. Dan was easy to spot. The playground mom the hardest!

Dan got the group to sing super loud Happy Birthday in the mall after the activity. Mace wasn't exactly amused!

With Ryan being a section leader, one of his duties is to play the national anthem at football games.

Macey opted out of being in the show this year, so she is chilling on the sideline during the performance.
