Fall Stuff

Fifth grade means sleep away camp. Well for 2 nights any way. Ryan went to a camp called Sky Ranch. He got to bunk with all his besties.
He was not sad to go off to camp! He had a great time.
While he was away I made him his Arrow of Light.
Macers playing with the hardly ever used Playdoh bucket. Glad to have Aubree over to play.
Thanksgiving is such a relaxing time for our family. We never go anywhere for a whole week! There were actually days that had NOTHING penciled in on my calendar. Rest! Rest! Rest!
I can't even complain about making Turkey dinner since I am the one who likes all the different foods, and it doesn't take that much longer to make than any other meal since I'm just feeding our 5. Bliss!

Yum, num!
I proceeded to lose this as soon as we moved into our new house. What an extraordinary find in my closet in December!
Macey and Megan painting. We traced the girls hands onto 4 canvases and then painted them like trees. I hung Macers downstairs and Meggy gave hers to her parents for Christmas.
Ryan singing with the choir. They were supposed to perform outdoors for the winter festival, but that was cancelled due to forecasted weather. They ended up doing their extra performance at CiCi's. Yeah, the patrons who went there for pizza was put out by this giant crowd and their families. Probably won't be doing that again!
3 great kids. Probably wondering what I was doing, and finding me at my computer... again. Primary... Always primary (except today, Blog!)
Macers and I made this gingerbread house from an IKEA kit. Next year I will invest in real candy decorations. Leftover Halloween candy is lame.
Alex (and Dan's) science fair project. Alex's project was to create a program to test how easily a password could be hacked.
Ryan had a sleepover birthday party at home this year. Batman was more or less the theme since Dan brought home a giant batman pinata from the Mexican grocery store.
Alex's band concert was held in a local church. The directors said they would perform at 8pm following a few other bands. He actually performed at 7:35. Dan nearly missed the whole thing. It was very good music!
