July 2023

Happy 44th birthday 5K!
4th of July meet up at the local park. Spikeball with the Carters and Watkins.

I had a friend from Goodyear, AZ in town. She being an 80's fan, I had to take her to the Video Game museum.

This epic puzzle was a Christmas gift I decided to conquer over summer break.
Macey and I did a lot of pet sitting over the summer. This is Stella a Russian box turtle.
My first shawl with boutique yarn!
This cone of shame is for when you are playing a game with your friends and you don't know whose turn it is!
Napping duo.
Ryan is a senior. He looks thrilled to be a Senior!
It is hilarious that Lucy is intrigued by Spork every time he comes out of his enclosure.
Turtle exercise outside.

Carli has a summer bday. When we learned she had never been to a performance at the Meyerson, we decided to get her tickets for her birthday! Dinner from the food trucks at Klyde Warren Park.

The National Youth Symphony from Carnegie Hall was an amazing group. It was not your average high school concert!
The first day of band camp!

Unfortunately MJ had to skip nearly all of band camp to attend FSY with her buddy Aubree. FSY was awesome, just too bad she couldn't have done both!
A mini-fig of my favorite Disney Princess.
Tired band boys. The heat was so draining.

Band director dunk tank.
Chandler, Ryan, Caleb and Jacob.

Baby Cecelia's afghan.

My kitchen sink garden.
Combined 5th Sunday lesson.

Super Smash Bros lunch tournament.

Bentonville Temple open house

Susan graciously hosted us at her beautiful home and ranch. Susan was with me on my wedding day helping prep me for my temple marriage. She and her husband Matt, who has passed away, helped raise me up from the time I was 12 years old. This bench is in honor of Matt.

The Bentonville Square and Walmart food truck!

In the very center of this picture you can see the temple spire. This view is from the driveway of Dan and I's first house in Bentonville, Arkansas.

12 Oaks Cemetery where my great-grandparents are buried. We stopped by after visiting my brother Charles and his family.
Braums success. Alex got the 5 for $5.55 deal and had burgers shoved in all the cranies.
Road trip with 2 of my chil'ens!

June 2023

I love to hold Lucy's feet. Alex loves to hold Lucy's feet. Lucy does not love to have her feet held. Alex and I pics back and forth when we are able to make her comply!
Brother is home from college!

A turtle crossing the path in Edgewood neighborhood.
Combined dinner activity.

Macey wins at Delucca Gaucho again!

Macey at the end of Hockey camp.
This is not fair actually.
Street hockey station.
Hockey camp!

June was a big month for Alex. Besides his Ironman, he also went through the temple for the first time. Shortly after this Alex became a temple worker on Thursday mornings. It was so awesome to see him serving in the temple!
SFA camp concert!

SFA rehearsal.
We had new sod installed in the front yard. This summer of extreme heat wasn't the best summer for a new lawn, but we have managed to keep most of it alive this year!
Alex has been forcing me to cut his hair for years. I'm hoping 2 years away from home gives him a chance to have a real barber to his hair!
SFA band camp drop off. These 2 are trying to intimidate the masses wearing their All Region shirts!
A Swedish chef, a dead goose and a Nerf bullet go for a ride in a teenager's car!
