2025 Family photos

Spring

Sarah McBride and Tracy Glasgow work with me in the uniform room. We got a nice picture of us at band banquet rather than all sweating and working hard in the band hall!
Grandpa was excited to take Ceci to the hockey rink to watch Macey play.
I'll have to publish the videos of the goals she made at this game. She played on an all girls team for the spring season. She says she wished she had played co-ed with her regular team mates, but I think it was a good opportunity for her to step up and be a leader!
The girls pre-game at a different game.
I hosted an Easter Brunch. I love doing this! But I think next year I'll have it on Friday again. We had a much smaller turn out than usual.

This was the decor I used and handed out the fans.
Alex and I went to see MCO's Messiah in America. Alex, 'oh, this is a musical?' Uh yeah, a Book of Mormon Easter musical. It was cool to see, but usually leave humming a song or two and this time it was more edifying, but not as catchy.
Ceci loves lift the flap books. When you finish one, she says 'more' so you'll read it again!
Macey playing at UIL.
A girl and her lizard.
Watching AZ and Arkansas during march madness!
Apple blossom embroidery project that I worked on while on my spring trips.
A turkey vulture getting a drink at the pond near City Hall.
It is a delight to watch sun in the morning as it keeps shifting north to south on my commute. It is almost back to where I began a year ago!
My fruit salsa won a prize at the Planning/Engineering Dip Off!
Wrapping up Bebe for nap time.

Another flight victory, flying solo I think. Hooray!

End of Winter

Ryan earned his wings! So proud of his months of hard work to get to this milestone!

Macey and Lorraine playing a hockey game on the arena side of Comerica Center.

Menah-Menah hat. I know this is Animal but we've always called it Menah-Menah. :)

Super Bowl party with DeLucias and Bustos.

I made this fun map quilt of the world. I machine sewed the longitude and latitude lines. I then embroidered historic ship routes. My intent is to eventually make felt boat replicas for each route to use on the map!

Aww, driving the pilot is always a colorful time!

I love this blanket! It is from this hilarious yarn that comes pre-striped to make granny squares. It is bright and silly. I mostly made it to go on my Halloween themed quilt ladder collection, but it is cheering the back of the couch for now.
Alex is 22! Ryan's birthday theme was cylinders. Alex's was cubes!

Fajitas at La Hacienda is always a great way to celebrate a birthday!
We have named our yard rabbit George. He was sprawled out in the side yard all afternoon. Glad he feels so safe back there!
