Happy Birthday, Old Man!
Dan turned 31 on Sunday. It was such a beautiful day. Dan started off the morning with a new alarm clock (which will be going back! It lit up the whole room when we turned out the lights.) and the boys singing. Dan had his Bishopric meetings, so he didn't get home until 3:00, when Kirsten, Mark, Trey and Coby and Walter came over. We had Hawaiian Haystacks (which Mark said wasn't really Hawaiian, go figure!) and cheesecake. Next year we'll have Kirsten make it; hers are so much better than from the Wal-Mart freezer.
To round out Dan's goods he got a new lunch box and a putter from the boys, a new t-shirt from M&K, and lots of cards from far and wide.
Thanks to those of you who honored my hubby on his special day. It is wonderful to be recognized once a year for just being you! We'll never get to old for birthdays.
(yes, our boys are in their undies. They wanted to play in the pool and they were happy to be in their skivvies.)

Happy Birthday Dan! May Babies are the best, huh? Sounds like he had a great birthday!
I love reading your blogs--my son isn't that old, is he? Good thing I don't get any older!
An alarm clock that lights up the whole room? Crazy what some people need to get out of bed. Tell him Happy B-day from me.
Happy Birthday Day. I disagree with your statement about never too old for celebrating birthdays though...
Hey, didn't he get a clock for his last birthday? Happy Birthday Dan!
The new back yard looks awesome. I bet you are glad to have all that dirt gone.
Happy Birthday, Dan! Looks like you guys had fun celebrating.
