Dan has surgery tomorrow morning. He gets to have pins; the kind that stick out. Ugh! He'll wear a cast for 4 weeks. The Dr said he shouldn't be driving (just 'cause if he gets in an accident he'll be more liable) and not to work while he is on the pain killers. Probably not to do anything at all until Monday. All for a little bball and exercise...

Oh, man!! Tell Dan I'm sooo sorry! That really stinks! Poor you, too. You are now nurse Crystal! This is also one reason Dan doesn't ever want to play church ball anymore.
Poor Dan! Isn't there a funny mormon movie called "church ball"? Maybe we should get together and watch it just for laughs..or maybe that wouldn't be so good for your hubby.
oh that totally stinks! I am so sorry to hear that. My hubby broke his ankle twice now playing church ball- both completely random accidents where he didnt actually do anything wrong and no one did anything wrong to him, just landing wrong. It affects the whole family! Good luck with the surgery...and everything. hope all else is well :)
