May

Going to the movies with the D girls.
Sunday funday. m&m monopoly and ice cream.
Selfie in the blue bonnets with my running friend, Stephanie!
 Sewin' up some squirrels.
Selfie in the same blue bonnet field with Macers.

And Ry and Dan. The boys were not too enthusiastic about this pic!
Happy Birthday, Dan! Our buddy John made this peep cake for Dan.
Dan hates peeps, so it was a grand joke!
Coach Dan handing out trophies at the end of outdoor soccer season.
Water, trampoline and DeLucias. Perfect Trifecta!
This is Ryan. He is 12 years old. He likes water balloons. A lot.
For Dan's bday, I got him a hammock stand. It was raining, so we set it up indoors for a while.
Piano, piano, piano. I know she doesn't love practicing, but the Lord needs pianists!
 Sushi lunch!
Amen, these Squirrels are done. Macey's, mine and Laura's.
No, this chica did not need a pink narwhal named Bubblegum, but what is a mom to do when the girl has an allowance?!
Zip-lining with Gabe. We had a tiny bit of a wait, but the boys had a good time.
Well, Ryan may have had some discomfort from the surgery in the spring. ;)

With Frisco growing so rapidly, new restaraunts and ice cream parlors pop up every day! This is Hi Sweetie, rolled ice cream.
 Yes, it tastes mega delicious!
 Megan and her puppy puppet.
Anther trip to Hi, Sweetie with my teenager.
This is at 4 am. Alex was about to impart on a band travel trip to the beach. It was a fiasco because the Gulf Coast has NOT recovered from the fall hurricanes. But the kids kept up their spirits and had a good time.
BYU Ombre blanket for one of Sunday School kids.
We have lived here 3 years and never worked on the deck. It took me getting on my hands and knees for 3 days to scrub this jewel down.
This is it all cleaned up!
Field Day! This is Macey's friend Evy.
Hallelujah! I only have 2 more elementary field days left to volunteer at. It is a hot and icky time commitment!
I got to help at the human foosball station.
Eagle project time. Wow, Ry is super glad to be here.
There were many things that had to be removed. This sick rose bush and several trees.
Including this beast, which is still in the ground as I type. We bust a water pipe trying to get this out.
This is the Friday crew (Memorial Day weekend).
And the Saturday crew shoveled 8 ton of rock.
But, don't it look nice? Good work, boys!
It is now July and we have made some progress from this point. Fingers crossed we can have the solar system installed by Meet the Teacher night.
SVU ombre blanket for another Sunday School kid.
 Primary, primary, primary.
Yep, this stud is my man.
One boy really, really happy to get his throw.
I had these licence plates in the garage that I wanted to do something with for a while, but couldn't quite decide what to do. And I also had this fun idea while going through old pictures that I'd love to make a collage of all the pictures we have of us in the car. So voila, I made this ping pong racket holder with the plates (the letters came from Hobby Lobby).
And I printed collages of our car trips. The photos start with Dan driving his Geo Prism before we were married to Dan driving his new Toyota Tacoma truck. I put up this display on June 1st, the 17th anniversary of our first date. The intention was to take the kids to relive the first date by eating at Sonic and going to the movies. However, it was the last day of school and we had already decided to go see Incredibles 2 the next week, so we ended up at Olive Garden using a 5 yr old gift card instead. :)
